Hi everyone! I hope you’ve been staying healthy and well during this time. After 81 days being off work due to my office’s closure, we are finally in the process of reopening! Since I’ll have to see people in person again, some makeup is needed so I can look presentable! I still need time to get back into the groove of a workday morning routine but this makeup look only takes a max of seven minutes. I’ll be wearing a mask at work so my priority for makeup is the upper half of the face. I need to cover up my undereyes and redness!
These are the products in my current rotation that I’m using for this easy look, with the newest addition being the Catrice Basic BAE Eyeshadow Palette*! It’s available at Shoppers Drug Mart for $16 CAD, and it has taken the spotlight over my other eyeshadow palettes, especially my classic Urban Decay Naked Palette. Every single colour is flattering and neutral! They’re very pigmented, easy to blend, and a good mix of matte and shimmery shades. The palette is perfect for my favourite one-colour-all-over-lids look, I just choose whichever colour I fancy that day. All Catrice products are cruelty-free too.
I only need to cover up the areas of redness that are not under the mask so I use a BB cream only on those areas and seamlessly blend it to the rest of my skin. This trick frees up so much time since I’m not applying a base all over my face. I finish the eyes off with a concealer under the eyes and mascara. No one will be seeing my mouth so no lip colour is needed.
Having this makeup look done in seven minutes allows me to do a few extra things before leaving for work. There are some permanent changes that I’ve made to my workday morning routine, let me know if you’re interested in reading about it!
