Is there anyone out there who still watches the Oscars?! I still watch each year just to see which movies has won awards and to see the celebs all glammed up.
One actress who caught my eye was Margot Robbie (nominated for best supporting actress in Bombshell)! I loved that she used a minimal makeup look that’s so timeless: a neutral eye, soft contours, and a classic red lip. Today I’m replicating the look using some Catrice Cosmetics products*. Catrice Cosmetics is a German beauty brand that recently launched in Canada. The line is said to have luxury inspired products but at affordable prices. All the products are vegan with no parabens, no perfume, and no animal testing.
I used the Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer* under the eyes to brighten up the under eye area and as a primer on the lids.
For the neutral brown look on the eyes, I used the Catrice x Eman Bronzed AF Eyeshadow Palette*. I put the Sunset shade all over the lids for the warm bronzed colour, and added the shimmery Malibu shade in the center to add some dimension. The colours in this palette are all so wearable.
I added a subtle highlight with the Catrice x Eman Lit Highlighter Palette* with the shade Surrey. I didn’t find the highlight to be too glittery.
I used a colour that imitated a natural flush on the cheeks using the Catrice Blush Box*. It claims to be waterproof and sweatproof.
I finished off with the Catrice Prime and Fine Dewy Glow Fixing Spray to set the makeup. It can be used as a priming spray to prep the skin or to refresh the complexion.
The other products I used were:
- Makeup Forever Mat Velvet + Matifying Foundation
- Covergirl Exhibitionist Mascara
- The Faceshop Moisture Touch Lipstick
This is the final look!
How did I do with the makeup?! I would love to see your attempt on this makeup look too! Also let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any other Catrice products before. Thank you Catrice for gifting the products featured in the post for me to try!
