Holiday Beauty Sets that are Worth It

Around this time of year, all the beauty and holiday value sets are released. They’re great to give as gifts or get for yourself to try different products. Read on to find out the ones I recommend, some of which I’m excited to try for myself!

The Laneige Kiss Me Day & Night Set ($24 CAD) includes the Lip Glowy Balm and the Lip Sleeping Mask. The Lip Sleeping Mask is a game changer to help your lips feel so smooth and soft the next day. It helps my chapped lips recover fast, or even simply maintains my lips on a day to day basis. Anyone would benefit from this, although your male friends may question the name of this set if you gift it to them…

The Fablantis ($64 CAD) is an amazing body and face care set with First Aid Beauty! First Aid Beauty is a clean beauty brand and their products are designed with sensitive skin in mind, so really anyone can benefit from these. Their Facial Radiance Pads and Face Cleanser are amazing. Just the pads alone are usually $42, so imagine four other full size products included in the cost of $64, such great value!

The Origins Mask & Go Set ($25 CAD) has five of the brand’s best-selling masks in a convenient travel size. I really like the Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay. All five have different functions so it’s nice to be able to pick whichever one you want to use based on your skin’s needs.

The Laura Mercier Caviar du Jour Chrome Mini Set ($51 CAD) is a luxury set, but still worth it in my eyes! Eyeshadow sticks are very easy to use and the colours included are so wearable. I haven’t tried any other eyeshadow sticks that are just as good (if you actually have recommendations then let me know in the comments down below!). The sticks apply smoothly and they have such a creamy finish. I use these eyeshadow sticks or my eyeshadow palettes each day.

I was so excited that the Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips 2 Mini Lip Set ($30 CAD) is available, but I resisted temptation and didn’t get it for myself since I have too many other lip products to use up. Her lipsticks are so comfortable to wear, and the colours in the set are timeless. One full size lipstick is $43 so this set is worth the value!

The limited edition Juicy Pear Festive Sack ($28 CAD) from The Body Shop is a well rounded set with a shower gel, body butter, hand cream, and a body scrub. It has a wonderful pear fragrance but it’s not overpowering. The body care products at the Body Shop are always a classic gift and you can’t go wrong with it.

Gift someone (or yourself) a spa night at home with the Burt’s Bees Spa Collection Holiday Set* ($24.99 CAD). It’s complete with a lavender candle to set the mood, a charcoal mask to detoxify, a lip mask to treat the lips, and a cuticle cream to moisturize the hands.

The Fresh “Fresh Darlings”* ($33 CAD) contains three great products from Fresh’s extensive range of skincare: Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash, Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask, and Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream. It’s a great gift for a loved one you want to introduce to the brand while giving them what they need for a basic skincare routine. I’m excited to use this in my upcoming travels and to try this face cream for the first time.

The Laneige Water Wonderland* ($50 CAD) contains the brand’s most famous Water Bank line in the form of their cream, eye mask, and sleeping mask. I’m excited to incorporate this set into my night time skincare routine as it will do its work to hydrate and deliver high doses of moisture to my dry skin overnight. The Water Bank line was reformulated so this set is with the new formulation. The original cream was too rich for me so I only used it on extremely dry patches rather than all over my face, so I’m excited to see if this new formulation works better for me.

I’m most excited for this last set: The Drunk Elephant Shelf-Respect Day Kit ($115 CAD)! These will be incorporated into my daytime skincare routine. I’ve yet to try Drunk Elephant skincare, so this is perfect since it includes the brand’s five most popular and reviewed products. It’s a pricier skincare line so I’m happy to try all the items in here first without having to buy them separately in its full size. I’m thankful for the Sephora VIB discount and the giftcards that I saved for this!
