3 Ways to Style a Satin Slip Dress

The satin slip dress is back in style again. It’s a versatile piece that can be paired with different things to create completely different looks. It does have a very feminine silhouette but I’ll show how I can use the same dress for a day, work, and night outfit. I picked up this one from Abercrombie & Fitch (it was on sale, likely not available anymore). Here are some similar ones from Aritzia, H&M, and Dynamite.

Daytime Look

Sunglasses: Valentino
Jacket: Gap
Leggings: Aritzia
Shoes: Stan Smith Adidas
Accessory: Fitbit

I dressed down the dress by throwing on a jean jacket and wearing sneakers with it. You can also make it work for the cooler fall season and get some street-wear vibes by wearing leggings under the dress.

Work Look

Glasses: Dita
Cardigan: Old Navy
Pants: Aritzia
Shoes: Circus by Sam Edelman
Purse: Longchamp

This probably works only for shorter slip dresses like mine, but I made this more appropriate for work by tucking it into my pants to look like a top! A cardigan or blazer completes the look, and no one would know that it’s actually a dress.

Night Out Look

Jacket: Danier
Purse: Prada
Shoes: Old Navy

This look can be for a date night, girls night out, or fancier dinner occasion. I dressed it up with my leather jacket and heels.

How else do you style a dress like this? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time,
